16th Street Mall Downtown Denver Party & Fire Works
The 16th Street Mall is the main New Years Eve party in Denver. There’s tons of fun for the family. The sky will once again sparkle over downtown at the close of 2022 with the New Year’s Eve Fireworks. The two spectacular fireworks shows will occur at 9 p.m. and midnight. For the best viewpoints, stand along the 16th Street Mall. The identical fireworks shows will be synched to a music playlist from live DJs along the mall. Each show will run for about eight minutes and can be viewed from anywhere along the mall. The DJs will play tunes from 8 p.m. to midnight. The fireworks are presented by the Downtown Denver Partnership and co-sponsored by VISIT DENVER and the Downtown Denver Business Improvement District.
Howl At the Moon
Howl at the Moon is a great option for those seeking a New Year’s Eve party in Denver. It’s a rather large bar/music venue with dueling pianos and live music. They offer party packages that will help you and your friends say “hello” to the New Year. There you’ll find an open bar, a premium catered buffet and complimentary champagne at midnight. The first package is called “Champagne Supernova”. Early bird pricing typically starts at $90, or $330 for a table for 4. It’s then it’s usually $110 a person after the early bird cut-off. The second package is called “Just Dance” which is usually $65 per person. Food and seating aren’t included in this package.
Ice Skating at Skyline Park
Another fun way to ring in the New Year in Denver is to skate around the Downtown Rink at Skyline Park. Skate rentals are usually $7 to $9, or bring your own skates and you can skate for free. Lots of family entertainment is to be had there.
Blossoms of Light
The Botanic Gardens hosts their annual NYE celebration in Denver called the Blossoms of Light. It has become a family-friendly tradition for people all across Colorado. Celebrate New Years’ Eve with light displays made out of a large field of sound-reactive and animated LED lights. They also serve warm drinks and snacks for your walk around the lights. Tickets usually cost $18 to $21 for non-members or $16 to $19 for members.

It features a countdown and ball drops on the hour all day long. They also provide sparkles, confetti special characters, science experiments, festive treats and face painting.
